Did something happen with the ITC scores? It seems like a lot of events were booted off BCP.
A bunch of factions where combined back with their parent factions you could say. Cult Mechanicus, Tempestus, Inquisitions, I think Khorne Daemonnkin will be folded into Demons shortly as well. So if you were in one of those types of factions you need to check the parent faction now to find your scores. I’ve gone from 1st of my faction to being now just top in the top 10.
Sorry I mean that the scores in the top now are a lot lower.
10th place a week ago was roughly 520 points, now thats 3rd.
It looks like a bunch of events or scores were removed from the database.
There seem to be issues getting the podcast up on itunes? Friday’s episode is still not up.
Is episode #550 going to be posted up for download?
Just an FYI, the mic is picking up a pounding sound, possibly hands hitting the table? (listening, not watching the YT video) It was happening on the last episode of the 9th realm as well. Great show otherwise!
Eagerly awaiting future releases of other units that do different things.
The entire primaris range doesnt follow its own fluff and is shoehorned into basically only bolterspam.
Every single unit except the one with plasmaguns does one thing and one thing only, spam bolter shots. Even the super dreadnought is a low S mass shooter that needs to stand still.
So what´s with all those super metal muscles when they are not used? You dont need metal muscles to shoot bolters, you need some dedicated primaris melee units other then light harass scouts with knifes or else that primaris chaplain is pretty wasted unless he beefs up borrowed normal marine vanguards or terminators.
The whole range is so weird and so shoehorned lacking heavy shooting and melee that I strongly suspect future releases of new units, what is even stranger is their absence in the new codex so maybe we wont get anything new along the line but no matter if we get or not we certainly DO NOT need yet *sigh* anoooother low S spamming shooty primaris unit.
The models aesthetics is freaking awesome so it would be nice to see pure primaris armies that actually differ from bolter spam.
It does follow the fluff though? There is literally a line in Dark Imperium where [Primaris] Cpt. Felix wishes that he had the flexibility of load out on his squads as the older generation marines.
Also as the designers have said its about creating new roles for units. Not replacing existing.
With the new kits the flying marines(inceptors) get access t their own plasma weapons.
The dreadnought has an amazing plasma cannon that is anything but low strength.
The aggressors have a pure flamer option and all have powerfists.
Yes I would like more but primaris armies have more than just bolt rifle varients.
I would love some missile launcher or lascannon support on infantry though.
