Khorne looks insane! I think we’ll see them smash at least a few big tournaments before people realize how strong Blood Tithe and some of the Battalions are. Maybe not on Tzeentch level (because Destiny Dice + Skyfires + Behemoths = omg), but up there on the power level for sure.

Yeah, they look great to me so far. They feel like we need to put them on the table to be sure, but off the cuff they look like they can kick some ass.

I’m one of this old WHFB competitive guys who hated AoS initially. I’ve changed my mind and you guys had quite a bit to do with that..thanks! So, on the competitive side what are some good blogs and groups to join? I’m in a couple AoS sites but getting tired of the old ‘fluff vs narrative’ coming up constantly, usually the fluff dudes complaining.

Lol, I know, right? That old argument is so played out. Do both! Neither is better than the other, just play and have fun in both styles.

Anyway, the scene is just developing. We strikve to have lots of AoS content here, but you can look for some other podcast groups, too.

And glad we turned you on to the game! It’s very fun.

There’s a Competitive AoS group on Facebook. Growing, but it’s filled with the regular FB group chatter.

The Grand Alliance is the best place to talk seriously about AoS. http://www.tga.community/ is a site run by Ben Curry, of the Bad Dice podcast. Lots of discussion about tactics, tournaments, and strategy.

Podcasts I like for AoS: The Ninth Realm (obviously!), Bad Dice Daily, Heelanhammer, Rolling Bad, Scrubby and Wells, and Canhammer when they cover AoS (they do 40k and a couple other games as well).

Thanks, I will check those out. I had already decided to play Khorne and got lucky the new book came out right on time. Interested to hear what people think about builds..although I intend to run Brass Stampede and Gore Pilgrims to start out with..bought 24 of the Skullcrushers and going to get them on the table..lol. I’m a serious painter and love those models.
