Tokens and Markers in 40k

Tokens everywhere!! As 40k changes I’ve been using tokens to help me remember some of the actions my units take when playing 40k. 🙂

I painted up a bunch of old square bases and use them as markers. Great for psychic powers or blood tithe points.

I like to make custom markers for my armies, too. They’re fun modeling projects.

That’s a great idea, I used bases for objectives but I hadn’t tried psychic powers. I’ll have to try this out, thank you!

Poker chips. I write down with alcohol pens things like psychic powers and jink. I have vehicle tokens indicating vehicle damage effects. I think those are from GF9 and much older, but GW never changed the names of vehicle effects. I have small green skulls from a previous edition for wound markers. I avoid using dice as I always picked up the dice on accident.
