If you’re playing under the new Wrath of Magnus rules – yes they did. But it could be they were just playing codex rules so they had daemonology and did not have split.

I’m not sure what the ITC ruling is on whether you have to play with the Magnus rules or if you can play with the codex rules instead.

This game was filmed before the Wrath of Magnus release.

Hadn’t thought about trying an exalted flamer-star before. Seemed to work pretty well for this mission against a small model-count list but I’d like to see it against some other lists. If one of the heralds rolls the overwatch at full BS power then it has amazing anti-charge capability but I’m still leery about the fact the exalted flamers can never move and shoot at full BS.

If only they could take regular disks of tzeentch too.

That would be beyond broken in my opinion. Assuming the standard 25 point disk cost they would be 75 points each, T5, 3W, relentless, and hyper-mobile with amazing weaponry and the ability to get a 2++ invul (re-rollable).

A squad of 9 would be able to shoot anywhere between 9 and 27 S9 AP2 shots.
