Short Form Battle Report: Salamanders vs. Elysian Drop Troops

Hey Everyone! Adam from TFG Radio here to present another battle report.

This time we have John playing his Salamander list against contest winner Tom, and his new Elysian Drop Troop army. Give it a look!

    I really like your salamanders list. I might look at that as a basis for my own in the future.

      Thanks! It is a solid way to run them. It’s unfortunate that all the other Chapters get so overshadowed by White Scars and Ultramarines.I wish Angels was as diverse as Legions is for Chaos. Legions gave some awesome flavor and diversity to CSMs whereas Angels was pretty meh, except for the new Psychic powers.

    I ran my Salamanders using the Battle Company for the first time at a local tournament. It was 2000 points and of course I ran it with Vulkan. It ran very similar to yours Adam, but instead of using the the grav on my devs I just used a full 4 MM on each one. One might not think it, but getting all those re-rolls to hit with meltas can be pretty vicious. I killed an opponent’s 3 airborne Flyrants with nothing but melta shots lol.
