  • Prodos releases three new unit for Warzone Resurrection, the Brotherhood Visionaires, Imperial Fenris Bikes, and the long awaited Cybertronic hero Vince Diamond.  These models are a far cry from the original Warzone models and really show the progress that Prodos has made in updating the game.

Upcoming ITC Events

itc.logo.01.1

  • ITC Update: lots of new material coming at us, the vote in June will be a big one.
  • Don’t jump to conclusions about which direction the ITC is going to go, often we just want to get information from the community, and it isn’t an indicator of what will actually happen.

Tactics Corner

  • New first draft FAQs for the Inquisition and Sisters of Battle!
    • A unit hit by PsyShock suffers perils on a random psyker, which is awesome to help mitigate those obnoxious psychic deathstars.

      Reecius May 20, 2016 11:12 am #

We update the ITC quarterly, next vote is in June.

Event results can be found here: https://www.frontlinegaming.org/2016-itc-event-results/

      • Vercingatorix May 20, 2016 12:13 pm #

I believe he meant the rankings. It would be really nice if you guys would put a “Results last updated on MM:DD” on the results page.

          Reecius May 20, 2016 2:59 pm #

          Yeah, we can do that.

Just FYI though, the rankings update every Friday morning.

  2. Maeglin May 20, 2016 3:19 pm #

You need to get Frankie to more events, I think it’d be hilarious if he was the overall winner.

  3. AngryPanda May 20, 2016 6:05 pm #

Wait a second, if Reece is back then who is the body in my trunk???

  4. Dakkath May 20, 2016 11:40 pm #

Personally I’d drops all those plasmas for meltas on the assault squads, maybe toss a flamer or two into the tac squads if there’s enough room.

    • AbusePuppy May 21, 2016 4:16 pm #

ASM aren’t allowed to take Meltaguns in the basic Marine codex, although I agree the Plasma Pistols are a waste.

  5. TinBane May 21, 2016 5:31 pm #

On the aura thing, in 7th there’s a rule that says that for all purposes, distance to a model is measured to the hull of a vehicle if it’s transporting them. The “not on the table” thing hasn’t been the default since 5th.

    • AbusePuppy May 21, 2016 10:32 pm #

The FAQ, however, explicitly states that auras do not work when inside a vehicle (unless they explicitly say they do.) It’s a pretty big upset in a lot of ways.

      • TinBane May 22, 2016 5:30 am #

Yeah, completely agree. My comment was in response to Reece saying the rules treat the model as off the board. Thing is in 7th that’s no longer true.

Special rules just for Culexus to deal with psychic deathstars?

I think we should piggy back assassins as Come the apoc.

Necrons for example would love to have a culexus as they have no natural access to anything with stomp for death starts either (can ally in chaos knight or stormsurge).

Or you know we could unban come the apoc? With everything that exists now, what would it hurt? Especially with flyrants getting nerfs (mucolids for VPs and no toe-in cover in FAQ).

It just doesn’t make sense that Tau, Eldar, SM (arguably the top three) get access to anti-psyker but the bad guys are left sucking their thumbs.
