Rumors: The Rumor Section is gathered from the web and is not in any way information we receive from  any manufacturer nor is it necessarily accurate. This section of the podcast is intended for entertainment purposes only.

summer campaign

-taking place in realm of life
-your battle results will be logged at a GW Web Station (the computer you order from when at a GW Store) to prevent skewing results like Eye of Terror did
-it will shape the setting when they write up future campaign books

general’s handbook

-units have a model count cap (max 10 models, or 20 models, etc. depends on the unit)
-you can only add models in “groups” (no points for individual models. example: add 5 liberators to your unit for X points)
-book will contain points for all models, and they’ll be included in battletomes going forward (i don’t know if it’s definitive, i couldn’t tell if he assumed that was what’s going to happen or if he was told by studio guys)
-army organization is a mix of force org from 40k and the point-tiers from fantasy. for every X points in a game, you can have up to Y heros/wizards/monsters, etc.
-in Match Play, there’s the “Rule of 1s”, in that 1s always fail, limit named characters to 1 per army, and units you summoned cannot summon other units that turn
-weapon upgrades in units won’t cost additional points.
-some missions in the book that are styled like LotR games, where you recreate a major battle with each player bringing an army determined by the rules, and such missions will be included in battletomes.
-narrative will have a lot of cool stuff to add to your games. magic items for your heroes to wield, new Path of Glory for all armies, new missions to run, etc.

future models

-Slaanesh is not dead. Models are supposedly finished and they’re waiting to get things ready (box art, artwork for future books, production, finding a time to include in the story, etc.) studios rarely release models the second they are done, there’s a lot of prep work behind the scenes.

  • 100th store event exclusive mini is supposedly called Brother Captain Centos and will be available if you spend $100 in a GW store during the event.

With it will not die and fnp i’m hoping a toughness 7 chapter master

tanking for the thunder fire cannons can pass and heal wounds to the

3x tech marines.  but that gives me a 48″ range, tough unit on the

table to survive shooting if i need to hold back the sky ham’s until

round 2.

I like the eviscerators for things immune to melta bonus.

i’m open to changing imp fist tactics.  i thought maybe that tank

hunters on missiles would be ok.

The 6 man assault squad is purely because of points

Can’t seam to find a area to ask why the complete destroyed/ nerf to the # 6 power for fulmanation. Why are You guys are so afraid of it?? There are ways to tone it down without gutting it compleatly. You can make it not be able to use turn one. You can limit to the same model count or wound count of the unit you are dealing out of.

The power gate allows you to get out of combat. Swapping units in combat. Not game breaking by any means.

You have completely destroyed you power. Making it worse then gate. With invisibility you changed the rule while keeping it’s spirt. Even the terrian power you sugest changes while kerping its power like it is intended, its spirit .

This time you didn’t even try to keep it’s spirit. As a power it is worthless now.

Your own play testing that you have shown, online have shown there are hard counters. In Storm of silance it didn’t win. Not even close.

Reece said that the wins where a anomaly. Sorry those happen all the time. I really hate that shooting armies are never needed. Rip tide wing anyone. But a power that could help assult armies be seen on the table is is needed bleas to powerful..??? Really.

How is 6 to 9 riptifes getting to fire twice in the first turn better //fair ??? Not many armies can survive with viable threat after that.

So why the nerf destruction of function #6 power????

You could make a rule that you can’t have both Geo and fulmation #6 powers together.
