This list looks awesome and Don has been destroying people with it. Hopefully he can keep the streak alive and destroy this nasty Deathstar. The Wulfen will need to get the charges off, which shouldn’t be to hard with the Landraiders. Really like this list and hope he wins the $100.

You need warpmetal armour when facing that amount of s10. Learnt that the hard way as well 😀
Sadly my renegades would eat both armies. If i get first against frankie then its going to rain. Against the wulfen i pop their rides early. They can charge if they want but ill be back and they will be slow. Lol

I disagree, I don’t think you will pop any of the land raiders in your first turn. You would have a good chance of stomping the Wolfen with your knight if you get to swing. it would be a good fight but i think you would have to win scoring the objectives and feeding the wolfen your infantry squads.
Only unit I have ever seen tar pit that army was a necron lychstar.
I think that Wulfen army might just have gotten invalidated.

Hmmm yes, if true that would be a big hit to many army ideas. Though I saw another page that said an IC joining a formation during gets its special rules too, which makes for a potent skyhammering, which would be good for nuking at least two of those Wulfen Land Raiders turn one.
The land raiders aren’t taken as dedicated transports for the wulfen, just transports that they are in, so the FAQ ruling doesn’t affect this.
Except the FAQ ruling affects this. You’ve never been able to start the game embarked in another units dedicated transport. This ruling also prevents you from starting the game embarked on a transport that’s not part of your detachment.
while still not as effective as starting the game in the land raiders, they can do what was done game 1 and hang out right behind them until they get their first turn.
The wulfen are much stronger if you have a culexes ready to move within 12 when they face the conclave
