List Review

Hey guys I’ve been painting up some space wolves lately and fiddling around with my army list and I really wanted to add some anti-tank punch to my army. I decided on a skitarii maniple to provide some strong alpha strike to the list and I’m pretty fond of how it looks. My only concern is that there is an even number of drop pods, which I know isn’t as efficient as an odd number. Anyways, here’s the list:

Wolftarii (1850)

Space Wolves CAD

Wolf Lord – Thunderwolf, Thunderhammer, SS – 200pts

Grey Hunters – 10x GH with upg Pack Leader, 2x flamers, combi-flamer, CCWs, Drop pod – 223

Grey Hunters – 10x GH with upg Pack Leader, 2x flamers, combi-flamer, CCWs, Drop pod – 223

Fast Attack

TWC – 5x TWC with 2 SS – 230

Drop Pod – 35

Drop Pod – 35

Heavy Support

Long Fangs – 4x ML – 135

Long Fangs – 4x ML – 135

Skitarii Maniple

Skitarii Vanguard – 10x Vanguard, 3x arc rifles, arc pistol – 155

Skitarii Vanguard – 5x Vanguard, 2x arc rifles, arc pistol – 95

Lord of War

Cerastus Knight Castigator – 380

Thanks again for reviewing my list. Sorry if the format wasn’t the easiest to read off of. I’m really enjoying collecting both my wolves and skitarii so the list will inevitably be tweaked around at some point to try out some new units. Especially as of now 4 pods just doesn’t seem right. Probably gonna go with a stronger thunderdome, drop a GH squad and buff the other skitarii unit to 10 with 3 arc rifles.

It was hard to read because of our mistake, not yours. All good, buddy.

    Hey guys,

Just wanted to encourage you to not let the few negative vocal minotriy take up any of your time. Sadly the internet is full of ppl allways looking for something or someone to talk down to, and the big majoirty that acctually enjoy the content is the quiet majority.

I truely enjoy the content you create, the full length battle reports are awesome and the pod casts are great if you, like me, don’t have time to read up on everything. Both are also very FUN to watch and listen to as you guys are such enjoyable dudes.

If I wasn’t leaving in Sweden I would 100% apply to help out during LVO.

    Keep up the great job!

It looks like RW got hooked up but DW is looking really crappy. I’m happy with the points drop and that Belial is no loner required (would have been better if he was actually good) but the restriction on how to play them in order to get the formation benefits is really disheartening. Still in wait-and-see mode but at the moment I think I’ll be asking my pick-up game competitors if they wont mind an amalgam of the 6th ed book with the 20 point DW squad reduction. I could use 80 points in my 1850 list.

We’ll see hot it pans out. But, they look fairly decent as far as Termies go.

Will there be an faq for no summoning Marines?? I just bought more Daemons for my Marines to summon at BAO and need to know if I can do it or not. Very sad. :'(

Hey, thanks again for running wargames con! We definitely don’t regret making the 8 hour drive.

I’m stoked that after years of just playing in my game room with local friends, I decided to step up to some tournaments this ITC season and my name is starting to get tossed around.

I’m still hoping the competitive meta diversifies a little more in the near future. Out of my two ITC events I ran across 1 ork, 1 marine, 5x eldar, and 4x necron opponents out of 11 total tourney games.

Also is there anywhere where they might have put up a quick summary of what happened in the narrative campaign? My one major heartbreak was that I also love narratives, and couldn’t be in both the champs and narrative.
