“My poor dark eldar” -Frankie 2014-

Stick a Farseer or 2 in your list, try for Shrouding (And Invis, why not) and suddenly your skimmers can jink for a 2+ cover save. Should help a little bit at least, and the Invis can be cast on a cool CC unit (like Beasts…..). Rejoice Frankie, you’re in for a good time! 😀

…You absolutely sure that’s a Baneblade? Looks more like Doomhammer. Also you missed Thanatar (which gives me mechanicus sanctified fanboy-boner)

    • Reecius July 8, 2014 8:29 am #

A Baneblade chassis vehicle we meant, but yeah, you are right, it’s more of a Doomhammer.

Oh, and we mentioned the Thanator a while back, yes, that is a serious Nerd Bonner Inducer!

From what I’ve seen Krom Dragongaze is based off the 3rd edition Space Wolf codex cover art and shares a pose with the 90mm statue of said art. I want the model even though I don’t play wolves because that picture is what got me into 40k all those many moons ago

    • Reecius July 8, 2014 9:13 am #

Good catch, that is true, he does look just like that pic.

I kind of geaked out when I saw it, on the 3rd Ed cover I’m pretty sure he’s supposed to be a blood claw and now they’ve advanced his saga to a wolf lord, so cool!! Lol

The thing about the tervigon is how hard it is to kill. You need synapse moving up with your monstrous creatures. The only thing you can really compare it to is a brood of three zoanthropes but they have the same save against small arms fire but the T4 means you have to make a lot more of them. Where as S8 shots will instant death them but they always get their save which with a tervigon it would probably ignore the save but every wound would only do 1 rather than the 2 it would do on a zoanthrope. I dunno what are your thoughts Reece? How do you provide synapse to your midfield?

    • iNcontroL July 9, 2014 10:54 pm #

problem with the tervigon is it either takes up the really key HQ slot OR you give it a 120 pt termagaunt tax. It isn’t THAT bad.. in fact it is quite good. But right now the idea that you NEED this otherwise dead weight offensively is being challenged. Obsec and potentially flooding the board with infantry is really nice but she sinks you in points and doesn’t do much else.. if she poops out after 1 it’s really bad too. MC with obsec IS sick though 🙂

I agree. I am trying to run one keyed up for assault, but so expensive and lackluster offense.

I want to point out that Krom Dragongaze isn’t new to the backgrouns, he has blurb on page 17 of the current space wolf codex, the inside back cover of the 3rd Ed codex shows the the warlords of the Fang and he is listed there
