I’m not sure I entirely agree on the Lascannon versus Autocannon Sabre. In terms of the flyers you’ll see, your big ones are gonna be Night Scythes, Flyrants, Harpies/Crones, and Daemon Princes. Scythes, Harpies, and Princes all have to consider the Autocannons very real threats. Depending on what your list is most worried about, I think they’re legit choices (and they are better against Wave Serpents as well.) Not that Lascannons are bad or not worth considering, but I don’t think they’re an automatic choice.

Thanks for the advice, though the Field Artillery Carriage is the one that comes with Thuddguns, I probably should have written that in, haha.

The Heavy Field Artillery Carriage is the Basilisk/Medusa one.

great list, very similar to one i have done at the end of 6th edition.

Its really powerful now I think.

I would drop the master of ord and fleet and lascannon and get a chimera to protect the CCS. They are surely going to be everyones first target.

the reason you take knights as a primary is to get seneschal:).
Also if you get a lancer as your warlord you get a huge benefit from the higher bs and ws and [checked with FW] the bonus to invuluns also affects the ion shield in combat

To bad the lancer looks like his legs are made of a paper receipt plastic roll lol( sorry but I think the lancer looks to tall and goofy)

Reece I am hoping when the codex comes out you will do an in depth review of it and impressions, I would probably watch/listen to that multiple times 😀

I dunno what it is but anytime there is an interview I can hear the person being interviewed but there is nothing but blank sound for the interviewer

    • Eldarain June 21, 2014 7:30 pm #

It tends to be in stereo for me. (Ie. when wearing headphones interviewer in left ear, interviewee in right ear)

Might be a speaker issue or setting.

      • Joshhodg June 22, 2014 9:39 am #

Ah yes I only have one speaker. I wish they would change that so I could actually listen to the interviews.

You can actually override your audio output settings so that it only plays in mono, that’ll fix it too. 🙂

That whole “faction” thing really didn’t last long. The lists these kinjd of lists create to many FAQ’s.

Quick question: Can Necrons (for example) ally with Necrons ?
