What was the argument re flier positioning? Not a big Flier user normally but about to take 4 go a tournament and would be useful to have the know how!

It was my understanding that a rune priest runic weapon was ap3 regardless of what was modeled on it, due to it being a unique force weapon.

You are correct, it’s an unusual force weapon due to the two Runic Weapon rules (cancel powers on a 4+; wounds Daemons on a 2+) and is thus AP3. Although interestingly Njal’s staff is specifically a Force Stave as per the FAQ….so there is an argument that Rune Priest weapons are as modeled, or are at least intended to be that way.

My bad, haven’t played my Wolves in a while.

No worries. Minor point. Pretty annoying when I run my Wolves though, my Priests all have axes and I want that AP2 so bad!

Why is it legal to put a flyer on top of your own models?

Really?!? I’ve been worrying about my zombies getting in the way of my fliers.

I’d assume he meant his demo charge scattered?

No worries, it was confusing the way I said it.

If you enjoyed that style of game, I encourage you to look into Highlander styled events. I got to play in my first this weekend and it definitely was a nice change of pace. It really started having me think outside the box and utilize a lot of strategies/tactics that I’ve not really thought about when running optimized lists. Thanks for the report.

Also, one of our players received his Mega Mat. I got to play a game on it and it is fantastic. I’m hoping my cityfight mat will be in the mail this week! Great product.

Glad you like the Mega Mat! That’s awesome. We love them.

And yeah, the Highlander format is pretty dang cool, I like it a lot as a change of pace! It makes for very fun games. We like to do it here form time to time to mix things up.

Cool game guys, these remain my favourite batreps for length/banter/fully painted armies (We’ll pretend the ogryn we’re extra’s from Steve Vai’s “Crazy Horse” music video) Keep up the good work.

Lol! We like to mix it up, sir. And, ironically, that game was ultra competitive because we both had slap-dick lists! haha
