News

  • GW is releasing the new goodies from the recent Eldar boxed set individually this weekend, Howling Banshees and Incubi. You’ll be able to pick those up from Frontline Gaming at discounted prices with FREE shipping options!
  • Privateer Press made some news with the announcement of a KickStarter for their new game: Warcaster, which is essentially the 40k version of Warmachine.
  • We’ve got a new FLG Mat for you, Volcanic Snow! It’s a doozy too, very nice looking gaming mat and available in a wide variety of sizes. Grab yours in our web-cart, today!
  • Through the continued hard-work and input of our community of ITC players and event organizers, we have now arrived at the (nearly) final form of the 2020 40k ITC season missions. Let’s discuss the final changes made.
    • The Postman will now also apply to Titanic Characters to allow Knight armies another viable choice for maneuver secondaries.
    • Marked for Death will go up to 120+ point units from 100+ point units to avoid encompassing many minimum cost troop units players have to take.
    • Gang Busters will no longer apply to Vehicles and Monsters as they are all encompassed by Big Game Hunter now.
    • The way deployment works will be altered to give even more benefit to the Defender based on feedback. If you chose to be the Defender, you roll for deployment with an optional re-roll. If you are chosen to be the Defender, you get to roll 2d6, re-rolling any duplicates, and choose the result you want.
    • Some general cleaning up of verbiage for clarity.

We’re loving the new missions! The one minor MINOR change my playgroup has made is calling Born For Greatness to A Hero’s Journey, and it’s probably one of my favorite secondaries. Thanks for working so hard guys!

Ah, the hero’s journey is so much hetter, lol. Missed opportunity.

Alright, I’m here, as always to complain about these new missions. So here’s my list of problems:
