Las Vegas Open 2019 40k Trophy

It is time for an upgrade to the LVO 40K trophy!

With the help of the excellent digital sculptor Nate Books (Art Station page) we decided that it was time to retire the old polygon Elvis and give him a slight upgrade.

We started up with a digital sculpt that was then split up into smaller pieces that then could be printed.

Once everything was cut up I moved to printing. I printed it on a Peoploly Moai UV laser resin 3d printer. It makes great prints that are easy to take right to painting without much post processing.

This picture is of the build plate with the part still attached and all the support structure.

And some of the parts with supports cleaned up and parts washed and cured.

And all put together with a marine for scale. This thing is massive! It will be getting a red/gold Khorne color scheme paint job. I will update once I start getting some paint on it.

Ok but the most important question: what model can it counts-as?

Well, lol, considering it is gigantic, probably a Titan, haha.

That is so cool. Any chance this can be made into a 28mm miniature and sold?

I wouldn’t mind running Brothe Capain Presley in my armies lol
