Dropfleet Commander Intro Game: Scourge vs UCM

Hey everyone, Adam here from TFG Radio. Today we bring you a video battle report for Hawk Wargames’ new game, Dropfleet Commander.

Today Danny and I take a look at Hawk Wargames’ newest game, Dropfleet Commander. We pit the starter fleets of the UCM and the Scourge against each other and explain a few things about the game along the way.

Thanks for watching and we hope you enjoyed it! If you can, please let us know what else you want to see. We have a lot of games we want to play, and share with you, so every comment helps.

As always, share your thoughts in the comments section! And remember, Frontline Gaming sells Games Workshop product at up to 25% off, every day. You can also pick up some cheap models in our Second Hand Shop. Some of these gems are quite rare, sometimes they’re fully painted!

Still waiting for my KS pledge, so I bought 2 Shaltari starterfleets, because I couldn’t wait anymore.

Totally worth it. The game is an absolut blast to play. Really hope it will take on and get a stable community.

The scan range mechanic is so innovative and fun. But I think some people will have to adjust to it and not bumrush into the middle and go weapons free. We had an extremely strategical first game (Shaltari vs. PHR) and barely lost 1/3 of our fleets because we maneuvred carefully to dodge arcs and managed our signature to not get blasted to bits.

I’m still waiting for my all PHR pledge. Luckily Danny got the Admiral pledge so we’ve been able to play a few games
