News

  • The ITC 2nd Quarter update poll is coming next week! Make sure to stay tuned for that and think about what you’d like to see done with things like the Death from the Skies Supllement, Angels of Death Space Marine psychic powers, reactions to some of the potential GW FAQ changes and the proposed rule change to help Dreadnoughts avoid being immobilized so easily.

  • We will also be enacting a new policy for the ITC in response to some of the events that have had mistakes with army lists, etc. If within 1 week of an event, the TO reaches out to us and shows that a player had an illegal list or played a rule incorrectly to their benefit, that player will not be granted any ITC points. This rule will not be applied retroactively, it will take effect upon the conclusion of the update poll and will be written into ITC Guidelines at that time.
  • New releases for Bolt Action! Sherman Jumbo Heavy Assault Tank, Chruchill Troop, and the Fierfly VC.

List Review

A list for one of your podcast:

Any barrage weapon within 12″ can fire and have the template cover friendly models to include those locket in combat.

He also moves several artillery units to elite choices and makes field artillery battery’s non compulsory troop choices. Yes OBSEC artillery.

  • HQ:
  • Renegade command squad (Covenant of nurgle, command vox, Ordnance Tyrant)
  • Elite:
  • Wyvern
  • Wyvern
  • Wyvern
  • Troops:
  • 50 Plague Zombies (4+ FnP)
  • 5 Renegade Veterans (Shotguns, Deepstrike, Flamer)
  • 4 Quad launchers 20 Crew
  • 4 Heavy Mortars 20 Crew
  • 4 Heavy Mortars 20 Crew
  • Heavy Support:
  • 3 Rapier Laser Destroyer 12 Crew
  • 3 Rapier Laser Destroyer 12 Crew
  • 3 Rapier Laser Destroyer 12 Crew
  • Fortification:
  • Void Shield Generator (3 total shields)
  • Allied Detachment:
  • Tzeentch Herald on Disk (Exalted Reward)
  • Tzeentch Herald on Disk (Exalted Reward)
  • 10 Pink Horrors
  • 10 Pink Horrors
  • 9 Screamers of Tzeentch
  • Total Pts: 1849

If you haven’t already formulated what I am going for here then I will explain. The screamer star is purely defensive in nature. I boost the screamer star up and then charge it into combat…. then the tyrant goes to work bombarding the screamers and anything/everything they are fighting. In the event that something makes it pass the screamerstar then I have 50 plague zombies to take on the next combat and repeat the process. The list is built around blocking any and all enemy advances with a wall of anti-infantry artillery shells. I’m playing with the idea of adding in some artillery carriages with either breacher shells or earthshaker shells for some more punch…. only issue is those shots can double out my tanks. Could this list put guard back on the radar or am I still dreaming?

FAQ Renegades:

How does the following renegade warlord trait affect ITC Missions:

  1. Fanatical Convert:  When any friendly unit with the uncertain worth special rule is destroyed within 12″ of this warlord, the controlling player should roll a D6.  On a 5+, the controlling player scores an additional Victory point.  This does not affect any Victory points scored by the opposing player for that unit’s destruction.

How does the command Net Vox work with units that are within 12″

Command Net Vox:  A unit equipped with a command net vox gains all the benefits of a vox-caster, and any other friendly unit within 12″ may use the unit’s leadership value when  taking a morale check.

Uncertain Worth:  Renegades aren’t always reliable troops.  While some are fanatically loyal, others have been forced to fight and will run away at the first chance, while yet more are simply unpredictable insane.  This is represented by a militia unit’s random leadership value.  The first time a unit with this special rule is required to take a leadership test, roll a D6 and add 4 (Giving a result of between 5 and 10).  This is the squad’s leadership value for the rest of the game and should be noted down for reference.  This leadership characteristic is subject to all the usual modifiers during play.

So my question is when can you use a command net vox for a unit that is within 12″?  Meaning you would have to roll the leadership for the Command Net Vox unit to use said leadership.

    good panel but
seems that the big dude and the ringleader should sit on opposite ends,
so that they speak to the center of the group.
