A boondoggle? I’m not seeing how this is going to be an expensive and ineffective government project 😉

  2. Duh_Ruckus April 19, 2016 4:54 pm #

    Why so many severitors?

      Reecius April 19, 2016 5:48 pm #

He used them as teleport targets to warp his star around the table.

Honestly I think that you could easily drop a priest or two to have two base squads of TWC. Having two base units could easily create a double deathstar with a list like this. Like you guys noticed, there was a lot of psychic overkill. Try creating two deathstars. Best-case scenario, it works. Worst-case scenario, you’re left with a squad of poor poor TWC hanging in the wind. Which would really take some doing with that many psyker ICs.

Yeah, I am sure we haven’t even scratched the surface of the nastiness with these powers, lol

Wow that has to be the most imbalanced thing I have ever seen in any miniatures game.Like wow holy shit.

That first trial with it was pretty rough.

Welcome to neck-beard hammer. Waste of time. What happened to my game? Sad times, indeed.

      • Vercingatorix April 21, 2016 7:55 am #

Ah yes, harken back to the olden days when warhammer was only played by fit men and women who decided rule disputes with arm wrestling instead of dice offs.

        • Chris April 21, 2016 8:45 am #

At least there were models from the same army years ago. Not a combined mess of multiple books to create a first turn win combo, like a card game. Theme? Realistic looking faction choices? Gone. Now there are Rock ’em Sock ’em robots being air dropped in by teams of flying Tyrants. The game looked and played better before the Kard kidz ruined it.

We didn’t wrestle but, bumped bellies violently to solve disputes. More civilized times.

4 battle leaders ftw. That’s how its done son!

  6. DevianID April 19, 2016 9:57 pm #

Hey quick point, i dont think you move the objective with that power. You have permission to move models, but no permission for objectives.

    • DevianID April 19, 2016 11:58 pm #

Sucks about the overlord stuck in reserve, that was 37 less wounds a turn for like 4 turns

      • Reecius
        Reecius April 20, 2016 9:16 am #

Yeah, that was a big mistake.

      Reecius April 20, 2016 9:17 am #

I think you’re right about that, buddy.

  7. Deviousdonut April 19, 2016 10:10 pm #

Just a quick other thing to think about. I moved terrain in my game and you can force a flyer to face a corner and either land or fly off the board. You can turn a vehicle around to get rear armor. Etc..

    • donthemagnificent April 20, 2016 8:14 am #

I don’t believe a flyer is actually “in terrain” when it is flying, I may be mistaken.

      • westrider April 20, 2016 3:58 pm #

It is, it just doesn’t have to take Dangerous Terrain Tests or anything.

  8. spacewolved April 19, 2016 11:50 pm #

So it seems that you can now bring your force field generator with you.

Hey, do you guys still post these as YouTube videos? I live in the uk so can never tune in live but love to listen whilst I paint!

We do, this one should go up today. Last week’s video got screwed up.

  10. robwetn1 April 20, 2016 5:52 am #

you got to kidding when reading people run that over the top list for space marines. let run a total of 8 librarians to get a host of powers off wow. you guys really hate 40k that much or really like hearing about all the complaining in the game ny power gamers in general.
but at the same time if it legal people can play or agree not all it when they play

    • Reecius
      Reecius April 20, 2016 9:18 am #

      I’m sorry, robwetn1, I don’t understand your post.

      • Luke April 20, 2016 11:46 am #

I think he’s getting at the idea that 40k is a social contract – if you don’t like the list/army/opponent, just don’t play them

The issue, of course, is that this is not an option at the tournament level (other than to concede, which is a big fail from a TO’s perspective if someone is just so dejected that they auto concede).

        • Reecius
          Reecius April 20, 2016 12:41 pm #

Good point, Luke. I agree, in a for fun setting, bring these wacky powers on! They’d be funny. In a tournament? No thank you.

  11. Nightman April 20, 2016 12:30 pm #

Those powers really itch my comp finger, this is coming from a marine player. I’d like to see 3 or 4 of those powers deleted. Sure there is counterplay and random rolling, but… yeah. I don’t understand why the new and improved ‘perfect timing’ is not wc2. Probably good to give it a few months regardless. Atleast most of the primaris are weak, theres that.

      Reecius April 20, 2016 2:27 pm #

Yeah, we’ll see how it pans out.

  12. cilium April 25, 2016 11:22 pm #

    Hi,

I think the list is not really competitive as you are dead round 1 if you go second against Grav-Spam or Eldar.

    Kind regards from G!
