The Warboss with MA runs with the Lootas to give them rerollable saves and SNP.

The Stormboys are there to offer some more mobility and because I generally think they are

awesome models and they fit my fluff very well. The Blood Axes have a lot of them in their ranks

and because they are very “disciplined” Orks they fit the German armed forces during WWII

(which my army is based upon) pretty well.

The reason I have 40 Shoota Boyz is because I had the awesome greatcoat Orks from Kromlech.

Nope. No age of Sigmar here.

Also I noticed on ITC results there’s a Canada tourney called death by dice from November 14th that is in the results twice. Same exact ranks and all. Just figured I’d let you know.

Thanks for pointing that out on Death by Dice, will look into it.

    Healthy Age of Sigmar?

Well the former Warhammer fantasy community is writing their own rules to add what is missing from AoS. However they are incredibly biased and made certain armies unplayable. The local GW manager is pissed about it, but sadly those select few players buy models all the time… They just made the game unplayable for everybody outside of the city, and new players.

so no.. its not healthy.. its broken as hell..

Curious about AoS. During the chat, Reece mentioned that the sales are relatively minor, but how are they compared to WFB sales (maybe prior to all pre-Sigmar rumors, pre-end times)? Here in my area, there are some people playing, maybe 6-10 at my LGS but in another area where I may move, there is a big dads/kids AoS group (with several daughters). Maybe 10-12 kids playing twice a month.

Good question! Fantasy sales were pretty dang low, too. We sold very little Fantasy, either. But, we didn’t try too hard to sell Fantasy, we’ve been putting AoS out there to try to capture some sales and it’s been a struggle. We were curious as to whether other folks were seeing the same thing. From what I have been able to gather (anecdotally, of course) it’s a similar story in many other places.
