Daemons of Chaos vs Grey Knights – Warhammer 40k – 1850pts

Nick and Logan throw down at one of our FLGSs for some 1850pt shenanigans with two armies we haven’t seen too often on this channel.

Unfortunately, we thought the store was open until 10PM but they actually closed at 8PM that night so we had to play as fast as possible which led to a hilarious few turns!

Be sure to check out the Tactics Corner for more great video bat reps.

I think the Daemon player should drop a prince for some beasts of Nurgle he might have been stronger and stayed in theme. Also, Nurgle Princes don’t need cover since they can jink on ground or in the air since they are shrouded so get that 2+ cover save and still psychic shriek. Beasts of Nurgle would’ve been a perfect tie up unit T5 4 wounds and it will not die, and slime trail and would fit the theme( they are expensive as hell $ wise tho). It was fun watching this classic battle tho. Grey Knights list looked solid.

Actually to my knowledge since psychic shriek is a witchfire you still have to roll to hit so snap shooting would make it pretty unreliable.
Please correct me if I’m wrong. I would love to use it without the roll to hit.

You are right, if they choose to jink. Since daemons of Nurgle are shrouded though, they always get +2 to cover saves so looks like junking is not needed if they are in cover.

      Nurgle units are always good.

Great batrep I just wish you guys had enough time to come to a natural conclusion before the store closes. Thank you for sharing these.

Doesn’t Nick have a blog somewhere?
That great Draigo model seems extremely familiar!
