angels, the latest Horus heresy book “The unremembered empire” by Dan abnett, names the

following wings

The dreadwing

The stormwing (doesn’t say what they do but they might be drop pod based)

The deathwing (yes they existed during the heresy, the main guy who is the lion’s 2ic is

deathwing)

The ravenwing is talked about in book 6 of the Horus heresy

Thanks for the great podcast

Rumors: The Rumor Section is gathered from the web and is not in any way information we receive

from any manufacturer nor is it necessarily accurate. This section of the podcast is intended for

entertainment purposes only.

• Rumors about Nid supplements! These come via BoLS, and they sound pretty cool. A Big Bug

book with rules for taking lots of the big beasties and running them in different ways but with

restricted units and always go second. Ouch!

• Rumors about a Fast Bugs supplement with Gargoyles as troops, special HQ flying Bugs and

special rules for Ravenors.

• Rumors of Genestealer cult supplement joining IG and Nids with heavy restrictions. You have to

take a psyker HQ, either Nid or Magus. AWESOME@@!!$%!#!

• Last episode we were talking about Grav weapons and damage. Reece made it sound like every

6 caused 2 HP, but it was actually every 6 after the first, sorry for the confusion.

List Review

Hey guys ive got a list for you to look at that im thinking of going with, I want to try and

make Terminators work somehow and I love me some space wolves so ive got this list

with Logan, 2 rune priests, 18 combi-weapon packing terminators and 15 long fangs.

Hopefully can inflict some serious early game punishment and be nice and fast to play

at a tournament.

Drop pod

List concept is Logan goes in 1 drop pod with terminators and the priests go in another

with 4 terminators (the guy with runic can tank some), against Tau, IG, Necrons etc they

can take double jaws, or a mix of SW powers and Divination. The Long fangs dont use

their pods. I can drop all 4 terminator pods at once cause i have 7 in total.

Turn 1 all 4 pods of terminators come down, priests try and do max damage with Jaws

or Twin link 2 units combi weapons. The terminators let fly into as much stuff as they

can with 16 combi meltas, if they pop stuff like wave serpents the heavy flamers are

there to fry the guys that fall out. If i get turn 1 the long fangs weigh in with missiles and

bolters. Hopefully i do so much alpha strike damage that the opponent is badly crippled

and cant get powers off the next turn with rune priest defence.

Next turn ive got 20 terminators with power axes / 4 fists and Logan in there to hopefully

do some damage to the remainder of the opponent.

If i go second i can play more cagey, not put the terminators in all the pods – use the

priests to twin-link the long fangs and Logan gives one of the squads relentless / tank

hunter etc and go for objectives later on with terminators.
