I have 2 pots of white GW paint 1 is white scares and the other is Ceramite White both seem to have a thick ball of paint in them, is this a commen problem with GW whites or have I just had these 2 paints to long?

The last 2 GW whites I bought ceramite and white scare seemed to be thicker and quickly formed large globs is there any way to know if it's the pot is in bad shape before you buy it or is there a way to extend the life of these paints?

Not specific to the whites but I almost always immediately dilute my GW paints. I find adding a 50/50 mix of water and matte acrylic medium (liquitex) to top off the pot gives me a consistency I like a lot more. You can also add a stainless nut or ball bearing to to your pots as an agitator to try to break up those clumps when shaking the pots.
